Irish exchequer deficit narrows to EU14bln from EU24bln

Quick one here but Irish exchequer has said the budget deficit has narrow to EU14bln down approx EU10bln from last year.

Income tax showed no up tick  unsurprisingly as still circa 14.5% unemployment rate and, corporation tax, VAT and stamp duties showed the main increases.

Nice that corporation tax is moving back up but would be a lot nicer to see the unemployment rate drop alongside this. Hoping to see investment pick up in the country next year when we return to international bond markets and we can make the most of a highly educated workforce looking to push the country forward.
